HER NAME WAS MARY KATHARINE

HER NAME WAS MARY KATHARINE: THE ONLY WOMAN WHOSE NAME APPEARS ON THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, written by Ella Schwartz, illustrated by me, from Christy Ottaviano Books (Hachette).

It is incredible that we do not know about Mary Katharine's life. She was a printer, postmaster, and patriot, and printed the Declaration of Independence for circulation.
